OUR STORY
Julia & Dan met in 2017 while they were both in college. Despite their busy schedules, they spent most of their available time together- both with their friends or just studying. Eventually, their friendship changed and in 2019 Dan invited Julia to dinner and ice skating (smart man), and their happiness was evident to all. To this day they celebrate their anniversary every year at the annual Sabres v. Predators hockey game.
The rest is history.
Shortly after they started dating, Dan and Julia both moved to Canandaigua where they both began to develop their life together. On a chilly February day in 2022 he proposed. Julia said yes, and now they are planning their wedding and the rest of their lives.

Allie met the Julia while they were both working at the law library at Syracuse University in 2017. Today, they catch up over Taylor Swift and a glass of wine.
Their friendship may not be rocket science, but even if it was, Allie could handle it.
Brianna Socker

Cute together since the 90's, Bre and Julia are cousins! Over the years, the two of them have bonded over family, dreams and more recently, they both switched their career paths into a field they each least expected.

Meghan McConnell

Meghan met the Julia in 2016 when they both joined Phi Alpha Delta. They have both been known to travel out of the way just to see each other while on a trip or for a day.
Cheers to this friendship & for the love of beer.

Crystal also met the bride in 2016 via Phi Alpha Delta at Syracuse. While work keeps them both busy & sometimes a world apart, you can count on them being on the other end of each other's phone.
Man, they're like tripendicular, ya know?
Brinley Alsworth

Brinley is Dan's niece (soon to be Julia's and she is SO excited). Julia and Brinley first met at the annual Alsworth Fourth of July party in 2020. Immediately, the two of them got along fabulously and when she got engaged, Julia couldn't imagine a more perfect person to be her flower girl. Brinley's father and brothers are also in the wedding party.
Out of respect for her age, Brinley's photo has not been added to this site.
Though she be but little, she is fierce & she leaves a bit of sparkle wherever she goes.

Austin Alsworth
Best Man
Austin and Dan have been friends since childhood; in fact they're so close they consider each other brothers. In 2022, Dan stood at Austin's side as his best man at his wedding, and Dan is elated to have Austin return the favor by standing at his side now.
Peter "PJ" Doyle
Groomsman
PJ met Dan when he transferred to Barnard Fire in 2022. Since then, PJ has mentored Dan through paramedic school and they have become close inside and out of work. If you find them on the golf course, chances are you'll find them laughing over a rolled cart.
Joe Gray
Groomsman
Joe met Dan when he was still developing his love for firefighting in Wellsville. Joe and Dan became so close that they lived together while they were both at Salamanca Fire and continue to work together today on rope rescue or confined space work.

Leo and Grant (yes they're twins!) are Dan's nephews and despite the bride's best efforts, they love Dan more. Leo and Grant are both too smart for their own good, silly and very into bugging their sister whenever they get the chance. They also just became big brothers last year! A role they seem to have taken on extraordinarily well.

Yes! Any food allergies not already known to the couple can and should be noted on the back of your RSVP card. The venue and couple ask that you only annotate food allergies, not things in the meal that you wish to change due to personal preference.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Having everyone enjoy their time at the wedding is of utmost importance to the bride and groom. They have ensured that there is accessibility to the indoor and outdoor portions of the venue for all.

Is the wedding ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. in the event of inclement weather, everything will be moved indoors.

Are there any room blocks for the wedding?

Due to specific limitations, the couple has not blocked out rooms. However, there is plenty of availability still at the venue should you wish to stay the night on location or you're welcome to book a room at any one of the wonderful nearby hotels.If you choose to stay at the venue, mention that you're attending the Fuqua/Fuller wedding and the venue annotate it in their records.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

The bride and groom are considering the wedding "garden formal". What does that mean for guests? Dresses, skirts, sport jackets or suits are requested. Florals, patterns and color are encouraged and welcomed. The couple asks that guests refrain from wearing black as the only limitation. Examples of this attire have been added below for your convenience, and additional inspiration can be found online by searching "garden formal wedding attire". Please dress so you can feel and look your best while having a great time celebrating with the bride and groom!

Am I allowed to bring a guest?

Due to space limitations, only those indicated on your invitation should be in attendance. While the couple wishes they could have invited everyone in their life, it is just not possible. If you have been granted a guest please communicate with the bride or groom the name of the guest you will be bringing.

Can I bring my child as my guest or as an additional plus 1?

We love your children, however the couple has asked that children do not attend on the wedding day. Due to space restriction the venue can also not accommodate additional guests. We appreciate your understanding.
